GRAPHICS 12: Logos

An exhaustive Logo design project for my seniors focusing on process, idea development and Adobe Illustrator skills.  It takes almost all of term 1 but really hammers home foundational and flexible design skills that I feel they will use throughout their career, as long as it may be.

In - Character: The results of a VAG workshop

 Our Photography 11/12 class visited the Vancouver Art gallery to study the wonderful Cindy Sherman Exhibit and take part in a great workshop on inventing character through staging.  We had a blast trying on different props and costumes, experimenting with light and thinking about framing and point of view.

GRAPHICS 10: Indesign layouts

An absolutely outstanding Graphics 10 class this year.  Sophisticated and precise, curious and dedicated.  This is our introduction to Adobe Indesign and grid-based Layout design.  I was breathless - never gave as many 100%'s for one project in my life!  Man I hope these kids continue through grades 11 and 12.
