This group of works is an exploration in Hexels and it’s
various settings, I explored pattern using shape, form, and colour to create
interest and complexity. I enjoy using
Hexels because it provides a structure to work within but doesn’t constrict
your creativity or imagination. The structured approach also allows me to focus
on the patterns and shapes in the designs rather than focusing on the
consistency and uniformity of the shapes if I were drawing them by hand. The
works reflect my interest in pattern, geometry and form in everyday things as
well as in more refined works of art.
